We lost our gas hot water heater when our sump pump failed a few weeks ago. After getting an outrageous quote-$1509- to be exact, from a local 'big name' plumbing and heating company I started shopping around. Sears seemed to have the best deal yet when I called for installation they told me that my county required an expansion tank and that it would be an additional $250. This was the first place in my research that mentioned anything about an expansion tank. I decided to do some more research on my local government web pages. I was able to determine that the information given to me about the expansion tank was wrong. I also found a link to A to Z Plumbing. I called them at noon and by 4p.m. I had hot water! They installed the same water heater that I received the $1500 quote for at HALF the price. I was very, very happy with their fast service and reasonable pricing.
