Took our money but never finished the work! Avoid this contractor!!

Rene Santiago, the owner of American Affordable Services, uses a fake electrician's license # on his business card. I checked with the state and the owner of the license # and neither knew Rene Santiago. We hired him to do the electrical work and install an above ground pool after finding him on HomeFixers. He and his partner, Chris Martinez, cheated us out of over $3,500 and never completed the job. They both made a lot of promises and excuses, but then quit returning our calls and kept our money. We trusted them because we found them on this site. Big mistake!
